For our anniversary, elenuial made me one of my favorite foods ever, sukiyaki. Which is super-special, because only he can make it. So we had a tasty (albeit late due to Kilroy elections) dinner, accompanied by a few episodes of Great Teacher Onizuka and Upright Citizens Brigade, season 2.

A very good night. =)

Does anyone have UCB Season 1 that I can borrow? I haven't seen it, and there are a bunch of running gags in season 2 I'd like to better appreciate.

actually, i'm wondering if you or adam have any tips for teppanyaki when you just have regular pans. also, in terms of the little extras that get added (garlic ginger butter, lemon, soy, etc), does he know what order the general beef/chicken/shrimp dishes get that stuff added in? i can't imagine it matters a WHOLE lot but probably has influence.
