Costuming dilemma.

So, I'm in a pirate-themed game at Intercon (Sassy Pirate Wenches on the Island of Stern Viking Yarls). It has been pointed out to me that I need no costume shopping, seeing as I have a fully functional pirate costume laying in bits around my house.

However, I have no idea what my character is like and the costume is decidedly French. French and snarky. And a little skanky, but that can be fixed.

Hmm. But I don't think it'll be a big deal unless my character is super-patriotic or has a defining characteristic of a nationality (ie an accent).

I also have a sizable Chinese embroidery wardrobe for Jade Emperor's Celestial Tournament, but it's primarily dresses. =/ And I might be cast as a cross-dresser. Or a ghost. Or both.

And I'm going to be cleaning and rearranging my clothes, as well as putting some things into storage. Here's where the dilemma lies: Do I keep out only essentials and dig for stuff later or go ahead and pack my costuming away, knowing I'll need to dig it out again in a couple months?

I'm lazy.

You need help coming up with a character for a snarky, skanky, French pirate costume? Sounds like the character IS the costume...

Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir, me bucko. Or I'll run ye through! Wait, yer not worth moi time... ::a flip of the hand sends the dock scum packing::

Oh, and as for the dilemna: I say pack the stuff away in a relatively easily accessible place.
