Yes... but. As designated expert on what the hotel will allow, I think they'd be pretty seriously against it. Even if the dance space could be completely sealed off so the carpets and floor are safe, drainage is a big concern - my bet is that, as with their prohibition against smoke machines, they've got a blanket policy which covers that.
On the other hand, I think it'd be kind of awesome, and Tim has a certain fondness for crazy ideas... if the weather were nice enough, we could actually consider doing one outside.
Well, these guys (http://www.mit.edu/people/ara/howto.html) seem to think so. Of course, other sites I've just glanced at say household soaps are generally avoided for health reasons, but I don't really see anything about how the foam is made that would prevent it working outside.
Doing it in March may mean forgoing the traditional swimwear, though.
