Leash: Casting hints sent out!

So, with half of the character sheets finished, last night [livejournal.com profile] elenuial and I did the casting for Leash. Again, some of the casting we did just broke us, which was awesome.

I'd forgotten how time-consuming and flat-out grueling it is to send casting hints to 30 people. It seriously sucked, and my wrist was killing me.

On the plus side, a lot of players so far seem super excited about their characters, which keeps me energized to write everything out. I'm cranking out 3-4k word character sheets in two hours, not including the "goals" or "who you know" sections. Moral support is nice, and casting people early so you know that people are excited for you to finish is a good battery-charger.

To my players: keep it up!

Off to writing I go.

Can people really strive to be tall? Is tallness a skill? Captain Hammer would say so!

If tallness is a skill, I highly recommend pursuing the "not hurting self despite tallness" skill in tandem with it.

(It's not just the low-hanging tree branches and doorways. It's all those blasted balcony railings set below your center of gravity...)

I think that's more of a disad you take to get the points for tallness. You should probably buy off the disad with future xp.

If you'll notice, she's already trying to put points into tallness by adding wings to her ears.

I'm good - bought it off in high school/college. The build points that were supposed to go into romance languages instead went into personal kinesthetics, and I'm happy with the substitution.

Y'know, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone trying to pursue tallness in that particular way. It's certainly far more portable than many other methods, and potentially stylish, too.
