Better off Dead: School crest!

I spent some of my downtime today designing a school crest for Necropolis High for the larp. I even have all of the characters vaguely outlined, too, and am really starting to get myself into the world.



I found the school motto on a heraldry site. Very appropriate.

I've never made a school crest before - I think it turned out well!

... Except it kind of looks like something you'd see in Avril Lavigne's tween girl clothing line.

I love it! Little touches like these always really add to the atmosphere and experience of a LARP for me. Did you use an art program?

I used Gimp a little bit, but mostly it was Paintbrush (the Mac version of MSPaint).

I can't read the motto very well... what does it say. (should be wearing glasses to read or be on the computer but I'm not)

I see in death, life then I can't read the bottom line.

It's "In life, death; in death, life." It's an old, old family motto.
