Being a new 'mom' is driving me crazy.

Driving him to RI for the weekend was the most stressful thing I've done in years, I think. Avoiding every pothole, refusing to go over a certain speed, yelling at crappy drivers and keeping the music low... I don't think that Baby, being a snake, has any particular musical preference, but still.
Mum loves him. Dad and TJ think he's pretty fun, though Dad still hasn't held him, and everyone has said how handsome he is despite the pre-shedding shabbiness. He loves his new hunk of driftwood and ceramic cave, but usually buries himself in substrate under the heat lamp or sleeps in my lap while I watch TV. Speaking of which, last night I got to watch the 1934 ( I believe) version of The Count of Monte Cristo. Very different from the book, but a good movie nonetheless.
The three of my family gathered around in fascination to watch me feed Baby just now. And he had no problem whatsoever eating! I was so proud. He's such a chill little guy.
And now that I think about it, Baby needs a name. He can't stay Baby forever. =)
I think I feel a poll coming on.
