First night on the job!

So, tonight went well.

I'm working as a waitress at Christo's, a family restaurant with bar and karaoke lounge xD It's on Stafford street, right off of Park ave. Not a bad place.

I got there, and the place was dead. So I got shown around, set up with an ID number, all that.

The Night in Short Bullets

- When training to be a waitress, expect to be a busboy for at least an hour.

- Toasting machines never toast the same darkness twice. Ever.

- Small children have a compulsion to put forks in their sodas. Seriously, every drink I picked up after anyone 10 and under had a fork stuck in it. Always the same way down, as if it was a ritual.

- Popcorn machines are happy to share their wares. Especially by the metric ton.
"Here, have some more! *door flap flap flap*"
"Noooooooo!! *shovel back in*"

- If someone asks you to fetch one thing, they want you to fetch three. But they won't tell you all three at once: you must make several trips.

Also, if you ever eat dinner there, try the deep fried scallops. I had them for dinner, and both Adam and I enjoyed them thoroughly.

Mm, carrot cake.
