More fotoz!

So I went out to look at the butterflies' progress today at around sunset, and saw a cute little monarch and a perfect Painted Lady flitting around. Sadly, the latter didn't want to be photographed and meandered off, but the promise of food was more than enough to keep the monarch happy.

Then I snapped a few of the two-foot baby sunflower in the front garden. It's teeny and not quite opened yet, and I thought it'd make a great photo.

That, and while I was taking pictures, I was visited by an enormous navy dragonfly. I nabbed a couple shots of him before I suggested he go about his business(read: plunked him down on the nearest plant).
