Tarot Priestess/Daphne dress @ 75%!
May. 19th, 2009 10:53 amI've finished all of the stitching for the dress~! The photoshoot is on Friday, so I have to complete the whole thing by then, but at this point, it's just adding shiny and orchids.
The key words for the costume were "high priestess" (after the Tarot card) and "greenhouse" (the location we're shooting in). So I wanted the shirt and skirt to have ridiculous amounts of flowy fabric, and get the bottom to look like flower petals. Also, white and silver. That's it. As pure-looking as possible.
And to see how creative I could get with materials. xD

Total cost, involving odds and ends: Roughly $25 for the whole thing.
