Packing despair
May. 25th, 2011 06:03 pmSo, we got told on Saturday or so that the new roommate needs to be in THIS weekend instead of in August, as originally planned. So now I'm trying to clean out the back room that has been turned into the junk room due to all the costuming and crafts and whatnot.
This room is like, a 3-week project. At least. I've already packed up six boxes of stuff to get rid of, and the room doesn't look an inch emptier. It is, by far, the hardest room in the house to empty.
I just want to sit on the floor and sob. Or get a bunch of garbage bags and throw all of it out. Or both, I don't know.
I don't even know where to begin. I'm so frustrated, especially because we don't have anywhere to put all of this stuff. We don't have a storage unit, the other rooms are full, and I refuse to encroach on our normal living space.
I'm on the edge of a panic attack. I would rather do physical harm to myself than keep packing. I don't know what to do.
Edit: I gathered my sanity and went out to buy Dragon Age II to trade with myself - 1hr of play for 1hr of packing. Except as soon as I came home, the 360 showed the RRoD. I am going to destroy something.
