Mar. 30th, 2008 07:13 pmNo Alpha Psi this term, though I was happy to know that I was wanted. I asked about potential voting meeting dickery when I met with Cara today, but was told that said dickery was attempted but thwarted. That's good. And that she thinks I'll have a really good shot next time around. Also good.

Heard Gackt on the radio today coming home from the dollar store. Gackt. On American radio. It made me happy.
Day off tomorrow also makes me happy. Sleeping in? Much more appreciated now.
And I've been told I'll be a dog trainer soon. Puppies, yay!

Bizarre dream
Mar. 22nd, 2008 11:22 amLast night, I dreamed that I (and a bunch of other people I knew) were at a convention. It was like Lunacon, but sci-fi geeks just came to it to do their laundry. Laundry-con, I guess. Except that one of the people running it was my cousin, L. Virginia, who has no interest in sci-fi whatsoever. But she was coordinating laundromats. =/

Getting into my mom's pants
Mar. 21st, 2008 10:49 pmThis post is actually about clothes. Sorry to disappoint.
When I was home, my mother passed along several pairs of pants she wears that used to fit her, but no longer do. They're awesome pants, and they fit me, but they don't fit well. So now I have a measurable way to motivate myself to keep slimming down. Five more pounds, and those pants'll fit like a glove.
Lunacon and family musings later. I'm not really in the mood to write.

SPLITTER.
I finally got an AV splitter for all our consoles. Now I don't have to go all the way up and go through the fuss of switching cables (the TV has them in the back, by the way) every time I want to play a different system.
Oh, that makes me so happy.

Little happinesses
Feb. 13th, 2008 06:43 pm1. Got called to come in for a job interview on Friday!
2. New Voices announcement is Friday at 5.
3. The Valentine's Tango is Friday night (tickets are going fast!) and I am SO excited to be dressing up and dancing to a FULL LIVE ORCHESTRA. Seriously, does anyone want me to try and reserve them tickets? I think I might have a spare two...
4. Just finished a beautiful pearl and shell jewelry set.
5. My character sheet for Sassy/Stern? 16 pages. Wtf.
6. Wearing a new dress either tomorrow or Friday. It's something small that makes me happy. =)
7. Found a new recipe to make for Valentine's day tomorrow (rather, using Valentine's as an excuse): White chocolate pound cake.
8. This weekend, all the valentine's candy at CVS will be dirt cheap!
( #9 may be TMI for some )
So it should be a good few days. =)
