It's not too far, only like an hour and a half from here. Less, actually. You'll get to see and hold baby snakes, and probably adults and subadults as well.

I'm cool with going alone, as I get all the entertainment I want out of snake shopping, but I figured I'd offer to anyone else interested.

Although if you are thinking about getting a snake, they'll be at breeder prices and you'll (literally) have your pick of the litter... =)

I can special order black collars through work, but it'll cost a little extra for shipping. There are only a few of them left, too, so in order to get what I can, I'll be putting in my order tomorrow. There are also a few 16" mahogany ones left too, no 14" and no pink.

1. Does anyone want a 15% off Petsmart coupon for this weekend? There's a big sale, and I can email some out.

2. Ever seen me in an outfit you liked a lot? Wanted a piece of? I'm going through my clothes and getting rid of three garbage bags full of stuff, so there's a good chance what you liked is in that pile. For example:
-a black/white/sequin bolero skirt (and a very similar one in red/saffron yellow!)
-a cream satin beaded nightgown (new, with tags!)

-a metallic green bra (never worn)

So, as you may have gathered from my last post, elenuial's EEE met with an... unfortunate soup broth accident.

If we go to turn it on tomorrow and it no longer works, I have a backup plan. I call it "Plan Haz Goes on a Rampage to Get elenuial a New Laptop so he Won't Die of Being Overwhelmed."

Basically, my master plan is to sell eight (and only eight!) pieces of custom jewelry for $25 apiece. My normal $35-$75 range is ignored. You buy a $25 spot, give me a few bits of inspiration, and I make you a custom necklace/earring set/hair accessory. You need a piece for a renaissance larp? I'll make you a half-tiara with gold and pearl drops. You like dragons? I'll make you something with dragons. You like lotus flowers? I'll make you earrings that look like the Hanging Gardens.

So basically, whatever your piece ends up as, it's only $25, and all of it goes toward buying my baby a new laptop so that he doesn't explode from feeling like the cosmic forces are conspiring against him.

So we'll try tomorrow. And, if something goes wrong, I'll open up reservations on the list ASAP. For now, if you're interested, comment and I'll save you a spot. If you're not one of the first eight, don't worry - something might fall through and you'd get in.

Again, I can only do this for eight people, and it's first-come, first-served.

Okay, after lusting after them since last Intercon, I am so making myself a set of Cyberfalls.

If I order in bulk, everything is cheaper. It's $14 a 10yd bag, and it takes 4 bags to make a 20" set. If I get a bunch of people to order (specifically, five) said four bags, then the price goes from $60 a custom set to $45.

There are sixty colors, and if anyone wants to get in on it, I'll be ordering both large and mini lox. The color chart is here, and you'll be able to pick up to four colors.

If you want in on it, let me know. So far, I have juldea on the train with me. And I'll need the money before I order, but I have paypal. It's all good.

EDIT: Upon further investigation, I've decided that the 20" would be too obnoxiously long for me, and I'd rather have two sets of 10". That being said, is anyone else looking to make short ones and want to coordinate colors to split for better variety? I.e., we order a bag of black and split it?

Also, I'm looking to place the order on Friday, so I'll kinda need to know by then. =)
