Anyone want an antique pin?

I found it at Savers attached to a dress and was intrigued, so I nabbed it.

It has five doves in the center and the inscription "Christus Heri Hodie Semper" which I think translates to "Christ today, tomorrow, always."

It's a neat pin, but it's not for me. I'd rather hand it off to someone who'll appreciate it, or knows someone who would.

Any takers? I'll mail it for you.

Actually, it says "Christ yesterday today always." Heri means yesterday. It's where we get "heritage" from. :)

I thought as much! I never studied latin, but I'm glad someone who knows what they're talking about says my hunch wasn't so far off. =)

I looked up "Christ today yesterday always" (clockwise) and it turns out that "today, tomorrow, always" is a motto for a guitar (of all things!) and on a poster somewhere, so I figured I translated it wrong. Hooray for going along with product endorsement!

Although now that I think about it, it does seem weird that a guitar label would have a pin...

You want it?
