Won't post about it here in case any of you are future players, but any of you who've already played can feel free to talk to me about it freely.

All in all, might've been one of the best experiences of my life.

I met some great people, had a lot of fun diving into an intense world, and generally enjoying the fuck out of myself.

And yes, I'd do it again. It's hitting me now just how much I loved it - I had a post-post game with Andrew, Dan, and Don in the apartment and we had a blast. Sometimes we laughed so hard we cried, other times [livejournal.com profile] elenuial and I pressed our GMs with "whatifs" and "coulda, shoulda wouldas" and figured certain things out for the first time.

I'm exhausted. Drained. Physically and mentally spent. I need to sleep and normalize this off, and reacclimate to the sadly disappointing real world. Although I do have some ridiculously welcoming memories to revisit. =)

P.S. I actually miss the voices in my head. Blame [livejournal.com profile] gower.

Yeah. When I played TMA, I was depressed for a week or two afterwards. The real world seemed really boring afterwards. I was not a pretty sight.

I did talk to [livejournal.com profile] drdt, and he said that writing my 'friends' backstories would be something he'd like to see happen, and for me, it's a good way to stay connected to them. I definitely want to chat with you about this sometime - after all, you must have some ideas about them, seeing as you were the one who brought them to life (so to speak) for me.

Real life is going to be very broken for a week or two. There were people who I hadn't known before game but who played my antagonists in game that I was afraid to go near or talk to for weeks afterwards...

And, like I mentioned at the party, you will probably sadly not find another LARPing experience like that again. I tried a handful of other games and was bored by all of them in comparison.

I'll take that challenge. :)

However, I did get much closer to some people through the game, which is always a plus, and since I met a ton of people who write/play in LARPs, I have a good feeling I can still enjoy a few games even though nothing may ever match up to TMA.

I'm just sorry we didn't get a chance to interact more. But I was busy being crazy and you were busy being...not quite crazy?

No, I was crazy. Or just on pills. xD

And our plots didn't mix much, so...

Any photos from saturday yet? =D

Please, please set comments to be private. The post is ok, but some of the comments are verging on breaking the gag rule, and I'd hate to give anything away. :)

::removing gag-breaking since comments aren't private::

I spent all day today, aside from classes, with an amusing-to-myself heightened perception of who and what was around me (from always watching to figure out who's nearby and what's going on), a quickened walk, and an aching need to explore every nook and cranny in case there's a ::spoiler:: there.
Plus, I kept looking at people's chests to figure out who was wearing nametags and therefore, who wasn't in the game.

Speaking of which, my 10 AM class is in Fuller 320. At 9:50 AM I headed towards my 10 AM class. At 9:55 AM I walked into Fuller and instinctively turned the corner to look for my nametag where the GMs were.

Also, I found 2 TMA end area signs and 1 ::spoiler::, unused.

I couldn't sleep off the whatifs and coulda shoulda wouldas... they kept me up till way too late and woke me up way too early XD

I needs me more weekend-long LARPs.

I sooooo wanted to be there, but given the choice between

1. A Filk (Science Fiction Folk Music) Convention with my girlfriend who lives in Chicago.

2. The TMA LARP

I chose #1
