Won't post about it here in case any of you are future players, but any of you who've already played can feel free to talk to me about it freely.
All in all, might've been one of the best experiences of my life.
I met some great people, had a lot of fun diving into an intense world, and generally enjoying the fuck out of myself.
And yes, I'd do it again. It's hitting me now just how much I loved it - I had a post-post game with Andrew, Dan, and Don in the apartment and we had a blast. Sometimes we laughed so hard we cried, other times
elenuial and I pressed our GMs with "whatifs" and "coulda, shoulda wouldas" and figured certain things out for the first time.
I'm exhausted. Drained. Physically and mentally spent. I need to sleep and normalize this off, and reacclimate to the sadly disappointing real world. Although I do have some ridiculously welcoming memories to revisit. =)

P.S. I actually miss the voices in my head. Blame

Date: 2007-10-29 01:58 pm (UTC)Yeah. When I played TMA, I was depressed for a week or two afterwards. The real world seemed really boring afterwards. I was not a pretty sight.

Date: 2007-10-30 02:52 am (UTC)I spent all day today, aside from classes, with an amusing-to-myself heightened perception of who and what was around me (from always watching to figure out who's nearby and what's going on), a quickened walk, and an aching need to explore every nook and cranny in case there's a ::spoiler:: there.
Plus, I kept looking at people's chests to figure out who was wearing nametags and therefore, who wasn't in the game.
Speaking of which, my 10 AM class is in Fuller 320. At 9:50 AM I headed towards my 10 AM class. At 9:55 AM I walked into Fuller and instinctively turned the corner to look for my nametag where the GMs were.
Also, I found 2 TMA end area signs and 1 ::spoiler::, unused.
I couldn't sleep off the whatifs and coulda shoulda wouldas... they kept me up till way too late and woke me up way too early XD
I needs me more weekend-long LARPs.
