[livejournal.com profile] elenuial's keyboard has a headphone jack I would like to make use of. Trouble is, it's an older keyboard and the jack is enormous. Easily double the size of the modern standard. I'm guessing that the sizes are 1/8" and 1/4" and do not mix well.

My question for y'all is this: Is there such a thing as a headphone size adapter, and if so, where can I find one?

Should the answer to that be "no" and "nowhere" respectively, does anyone know where I can get a pair of headphones that would fit?

Yes. Radio shack. And I think there's one somewhere in the house...

You should check with the person you actually live with first. :P

I hereby deem this response 'epic.'

See, he says he has one, but what he fails to mention is that all of his "general electronics crap" is stored in plastic bags and pockets throughout the house with no discernible system whatsoever. =P

I think you two should have all your communications via LJ comments. "What should we have for dinner?" "Let's make an LJ poll!" And so on.

That's how [livejournal.com profile] dirkcjelli and I communicate, and usually in other people's journals for good measure.

You would be surprised as to how not uncommon it is for that to happen with us...

You don't need a size adapter, you just need to convince the current jack to do Kegels.

Audiophile headphones (such as the Sennheiser HD555) come with an adapter for SMALLER holes, since the default plug is big. But you need one that goes BIGGER? Either kick your koibito in the ass to get you the adapter, or go to Radioshack.
