Comedy shows this weekend!

So, there are two comedy shows going on this weekend, both of which are open to the public and completely free of charge:

WHO: KILROY sketch comedy: "Insert Coin to Continue!"
WHAT: Filmed/live sketches, standup before and after the main show
WHEN: Friday the 22nd at 7:30pm
WHERE: Riley Commons

This show has been advertised (and from what I've seen so far, deservedly so) as possibly the most offensive show Kilroy's ever done. From transubstantiation troubles to awkwardly-named unions, there'll be nun costumes and physical humor galore.
I'm taking part in this one, kinda. I volunteered to do stand-up (that's right, I'll be doing stand-up for the first time ever friday night) and am in a few filmed sketches because elenuial needed extras. I also edited a filmed sketch to help Luther out and may possibly be in a dance number, if needed.

WHAT: Movie Showing, "Comedy Wears a Tie"
WHEN: Saturday the 23rd, 8pm
WHERE: Kinnicutt

I'm no longer in Empty Set, but I'm totally going to see their show to support the new movie endeavor.

I need to watch some of these standup sets you and Elenuial are doing. I dig humor and think about it a lot, but fail to grok standup. I don't know how to make an audience laugh when they're that far away from me, and I suck at telegraphing jokes I've already heard.

AHHHHH!!! We're STAND UP COMEDYING!!!! When you put a space in there, it says "COME DYING". So....we're dying of orgasms? Yes.

I just realized. We're either dying of orgasms, or dying the sheets with our orgasms. Both are good.
