Turtle, turtle

Anyone on my f-list looking to adopt a turtle? Our PetSmart was pretty much handed a red-eared slider (yes, people think it's okay to dump animals they no longer want in our store) who is undergoing some treatment to make sure he's healthy, and - pending vet clearance - he's going up for adoption.

Just thought I'd put it out there. Comment if you're interested, and I'll talk to the other Petcare people.

Oh that was your first pet-dumping? Sad to say you will likely see many MANY more examples of that. Rodents and the scaley-ones seem to be the worst of it.

Certainly! :D I wanted to make an animated version but I haven't been able to compress it enough (without killing the quality) for LJ's file sizes.

I'd be interested, but coupled with the fact that I live an hour and a half away and that red-eared sliders are hard to care for, I'll have to pass. :(

I hope you find someone to care for the little guy! I love turtles.
