So, for names, it seems to be down to Hermes and Edmund Dantes. I will have made my decision by the end of work today, as I'm making him a cage tag, and you need a name for that.

I also decorated his tank a little more. I got some very sturdy plastic orchids (a few different branches to add variety) and put one in the tank to give him a new texture to play on. Plus, it looks pretty.

I'm also a little disappointed, seeing as when I went to handle him today, I saw that he'd already gotten into his late shed phase. This means that he'll soon start the actual shedding of his skin, and until he sheds his headpiece, he'll be completely blind. I made sure his water dish was filled, though, and will encourage him to soak before I leave for work.

On the other hand, I know that I fed him just in time. Once he goes blind, he won't eat at all, so if I had waited even a day, he wouldn't have eaten until the weekend. And he'll be very handsome and happy once all of his old skin is gone. =)

Until then, between the humidity and the shedding, he's going to be one cranky camper.

i'm somewhat surprised you didn't give him some sort of Mayan name, honestly. out of the two i kinda like edmund. as a joke i'd always call him ed. how much would it rock to have a snake named ed?

and you still have to meet minh.
