So, Google Chrome.

Like it? Love it? Hate it?

I'm looking into it and am wondering how others have fared.

I truthfully think it's really nifty. It imported all my link folders with their bookmarks from Mozilla, and I like it's no-fuss minimalism though it is still visually appealing. It's pretty quick, and seems quite stable and secure.

I don't know if I LOVE it, but I definitely like it.

It's very fast. Unfortunately, it has no plugin support at this time, so if you use any plugins, you're SoL. Along with that, I've noticed it doesn't like a lot of the javascript I usually make use of in some browsers (of note, autocomplete)

It's nice, but I think it needs to mature a little. Also, LJ looks bad in it.

So things like my del.icio.us won't work or import?
Is there anything else to recommend it other than being fast?

Well, it seems to be a fairly strict browser (like Firefox) so it's good for checking your code if you're a web programmer. I really like the tab dropping (you can pull a tab out of the Chrome window and it makes its own tab) and if a website crashes, it only crashes that tab, not the whole window.

Like I said, it has a huge upside, it just needs to grow into it.

I actually thought LJ looked better in Chrome, being that it's a bit more spread out and the colors seem to show up better.

It is most definitely good for checking code, though I'll agree with the autocomplete needing a bit of work.

Oh, one more thing that bites - it doesn't like to display background images. Not sure how to iron that one out.

Does too support plugins. :) Type "about:plugins" in the omnibar if you don't believe me. I think you might have meant "extensions", like AdBlock and Bugzilla.

Dunno. Doesn't run* on my linux box or my Mac laptop. Waiting for the good bits to end up in Firefox (won't be long, I can tell you).

* - Those wacky Crossover folks have hacked up a way to run it on these platforms, but it isn't native, it's the Windows binary with on the fly transcoding. Doesn't count.

I like it. I'm best agreeing with dncingmalkavian. Imported all my bookmarks and saved passwords without a hitch. The only nitpick is the lack of extensions, but I'll see what's what in a moment. I still keep Firefox around, but that's only for FTP (I'd like to do FTP in Chrome!)
