Gearing up early
Mar. 8th, 2008 07:08 pmI want to bid a game for Intercon I.
Yay! Planning early!
Boo! Doing this alone.
I really like the idea of the game, but the part about running and writing it by myself when I've only ever done that once (along with
elenuial) is daunting enough to make me want to scrap the idea.
I wonder, though - should I bid it and then worry about all this later? There is the chance that it won't get accepted, and I won't have anything to fuss about.
That, and
elenuial wants to run a game that I'd love to be a part of, but I had a hard enough time with running one game, never mind two. And the second of them alone. =/
And (of course) I already see games that I'd like to play in, but don't know the scheduling for.
Hm. A good plan might be to wait until the initial schedule goes up (anyone know when that might be?), writing in the meanwhile, and deciding whether or not to bid it on how well it's turning out. And if anyone turns up to help me write/run it.
What do you guys think?
