Recipe: Comfort Food Casserole Thing
Apr. 16th, 2009 08:51 pmOh man, the carbs. But oh man, the taste. It's the ultimate comfort food for me.
Ingredients:
-One can (10.5 oz) Cream of Mushroom Soup
-One container (16oz) Sour Cream
-One sack (32oz) frozen Southern-style Homefries (they're shaped like little cubes, and usually OreIda brand), thawed
-2c grated cheddar
-1/2c chopped onions
-1.5 lb chicken, diced
-1/2tsp pepper
-1/2tsp salt
Throw everything together into a foil-covered 13x9, bake at 375 for at least an hour (depending on how brown you want it) and serve.
It's so good.
