As I write the character sheets for Martha, I'm planning on repeating this mantra:
I will keep the character sheets under four pages.
I will keep the character sheets under four pages.
I will keep the character sheets under four pages.
Other than that, more happy responses from players in regards to their casting. This will be awesome. =)

Or is the problem one of memory, that people simply aren't going to be able to cram into their heads four pages of backstory in a short period of time?
Though, I have to admit that it's pretty awesome that there are characters with that much backstory in a four(?) hour larp. It'll be a change of pace to do this after running around as a caveman going "Grrr. Ook ook." :-P
And, to join the choruses of voices, my character sounds like it'll be awesome to play, looking forward to the full sheet :)
(If you do end up having trouble keeping things short, then as a player I can say that bullet point recaps and/or section headers for major backstory events are extremely useful for skimming and remembering things mid-game)
