If you rate corsets on "light," "medium," and "heavy:"

light: the kind you get mall stores. No boning, cheaply made, covered in rhinestones. Clubbing corsets. Mall skank corsets.

medium: some support, some shaping, reinforced. The kind I'd be buying. Mostly decorative, but partly functional. But not as functional as...

heavy: Triple-reinforced, front-busk, 30-waist-down-to-22-feels-like-fiberglass corsets. The kind you get at fetish fairs.
