A favor to ask
Jun. 1st, 2009 11:02 pmHello, my f-list!
Does anyone have a well-lit, preferably simple bed setup that I could monopolize on this Sunday? If it's against more than one wall, awesome. Morning/afternoon.
I have two girls coming in for a light rope bondage shoot (both first-timers, so nothing more than simple ties) and the photos will be black/whites. I can bring a white bedsheet, so that's not an issue.
I will cook lunch for you. Or make cookies. Or something.
Come on. Cookies. Devastatingly cute girls.
If you can, I'd be awesomely grateful.

Date: 2009-06-02 04:04 am (UTC)The bed is black wrought iron. Pictures of it in a past setup are here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/24802536@N03/2654418994/in/set-72157606074823308/) Current bedding is dark purple satiny sheets, black comforter.

Date: 2009-06-02 02:56 pm (UTC)One caveat: cats live here. Better check with your models that they don't have allergies. The black comforter is pretty inundated with cat hair, but I would be happy to launder it before the shoot. After all, this would give me awesome bragging rights. ;)

Date: 2009-06-02 03:14 pm (UTC)This shows off the bed and its awesome wrought iron posts, my odd gabled ceiling (this shoot would be so much more awesome if I had ever installed mirrors there like I pondered), the currently-shaded window (camera can't deal with the light changes too well), the side of the bed where the computer desk is (chair easily movable; desk less so but not entirely immovable), the top of the bed where all my laundry is (definitely movable), and the awesome light fixture I have that is not only bright but each light is independently movable.
What do you think?

Date: 2009-06-02 03:28 pm (UTC)The shoot is slated to start at 10am, so I'll plan on being there at 9:30ish to set up. How's that?
(also, I will provide lunch for everyone. Including you. Any dietary restrictions?)

Date: 2009-06-02 09:56 pm (UTC)Okay, I will clean up and take care of the laundry piles and such on Saturday night or earlier on Sunday, and then when you show up Sunday 9:30 we can do whatever else needs be done.
Address is in this locked post (http://juldea.livejournal.com/912658.html).
I do live right next to a Thai/Vietnamese restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and a gourmet burger restaurant, so that might make lunch easier. I have no dietary restrictions other than preferring non-seafood (unless it's sushi.)

Date: 2009-06-02 06:03 am (UTC)Against 2 white walls, lighting may be an issue.
No posts, but I think it might work anyway.
If you want I can send you a picture.
