Snake dilemma

I can't keep walking by Bowie's tank and bursting into tears. I have to have something living in there, and soon.

I have pretty much narrowed it down to two species: the Spotted Python and garter snakes. Here's a helpful table. Price is very much not an issue.

Color	Brown spots with iridescent coat	Many, though I'm mostly looking at blue and possibly orange. They're all vivid.

Thoughts? Anything else I should add up there?

They're usually even blue-r. That's a dull one.

Can either of them get by as more than a pair... like as an entire clutch? 6-10 garters would be a party. :)
