Another shoot with one of my mother's clients. This girl has been through ridiculous shit, but is thankfully getting back to some semblance of normal. Within minutes of meeting, she and I had hit it off, and she loved getting in front of the camera. This made my job much easier.

She's so pretty. It might be in an unconventional way, but she's just awesome to look at (the green eyes don't hurt). Only 15, too.

I tried to diversify the edits I made this time around. I'm experimenting with different feels, which is fancy-talk for "fucking around in photoshop until something looks interesting." I like how they came out.

I also think I'm getting to be a better photographer in the fact that I can now imagine a shot and get something pretty damn close. Or maybe just getting better in general. I'll take either, considering it's been months since I shot anything.

2 and 4 for the MFin'-win.

4 is EXACTLY the kind of photo I'd like of me someday.

What about it, exactly? Like, what makes it the kind you want?

I'm intrigued by how different she looks in each of these, like they were each taken of a different girl. 2 is just plain stunning, but I think 4 is the best portrait. 4 is a person, 2 is an icon, a mystery.

I love number 2.
4 reminds me of one of the characters from an FF game.

The 2nd one is one of the most striking images I've ever seen, and it's beautiful. I also like the 4th... something about the look on her face, the washed out-ness of the colors - something wistful.

My favorite is all but the last one. These are very good.

That seriously means a lot coming from you. Thanks.

Also, this shoot was the first one where I manually adjusted f-stop and shutter in order to get the shots I wanted. I was very proud of myself.

Lady, 2 and 4 are awesome.

I'm betting you could sell 2 as book cover art someday. Hang onto that one. =)

I'll jump on the bandwagon and say 2 and 4. 1 is also very nice.

Like many others, I love 4- it looks very professional, like it could be right out of a fashion magazine.
