I gave in. Edited a whole bunch of photos. Maybe now I'll be able to write.

Huge thanks to in_water_writ for letting us use her place for makeup and prep. =) And of course to the lovely offside7 for being such a good sport and letting me paint her face.

Literally. Most of the pattern was done with acrylic.

Anyway, tons of fun and some gorgeous photos. offside7 was an awesome model, trusting me when I asked her to do weird things, promising that it would look good on camera. xD I'm so glad she made time to do this while she was in town!

Even got some in-progress shots of the makeup, if anyone's interested in a tutorial.

The colors are great and her stance and overall look is great, and overall the shot seems to be the one with the strongest implication of "there's a good story here ... maybe a creepy story you can't handle, but a good story nonetheless"
