Temporary date grab

I would like to have a going-away shebang before elenuial and I leave for Japan. The absolute latest it can be is the second week of July, because I have a feeling that the two weeks prior to departure (he leaves 8/1) will be filled with panic.

Is there anything major going on the weekend of 7/16-18?

I know of no one-shot larps then and Serendipity is in June. The people that play things like Endgame and Rage would be able to tell you the schedudle of their campaign larps.

The two weekends before that have parties, but I think that one is clear.

My parents' big boardgame con to which many of our mutual friends our invited will be done by then. I know of no other things.

Nothing major that I know of. I'll be up in Vermont visiting relations, sad to say, but no matter what weekend, no way everyone could make it. *sigh* But nothing major I can think of, so it should be good for -many- people.

Already commented on what I (don't) know of going on that weekend. The 16th - 18th is a Saturday through Monday; are those the dates you're looking at?

The Post Meridian Radio Players have a show (that I'm in) on the 16th, but I know of nothing happening on the 17th or 18th.
