So, anyone in the worcester area... Looking for a part-time job?

A few waitresses are leaving Christo's restaurant, and they need new ones ASAP.

SO!

-Either part time or full time
-Helpful senior staff
-No tip certification needed
-No experience needed, but preferred

It really is a great place to learn to be a waitress. Everyone's very helpful, and you make pretty good money. I make $250+ a weekend in tips. And that's just from two or three shifts in the dining room - you make a good deal more working on the lounge side.

Once you've learned to be a good waitress, you can take it to any restaurant. It's a great marketable skill.

And I'm one of the waitresses leaving, so I promised my boss I'd put this out there to bring in some help.

And by that, I mean what do they consider part time and full time? Actually, to risk sounding like a complete doofus, is there a general standard for what's considered part time and what's full time? Gah, tired...

Well, the shifts are anywhere from 4 to 6 hours, depending. I worked three days a week, usually about 5 and a half hours a night, tops. Like, you could come in at four and leave at eight with fifty or sixty bucks on a weekend. Weeknights are pretty damn good too. Surprisingly so. But right now, they need people to start work ASAP and any number of hours is good. So if you can only work 2 or 3 nights a week and/or weekend days (sat/sun lunch, sunday am breakfast) that should be fine. And if you go ahead and apply, tell them Shannon told you about it. =)

Sure! I'm going in this afternoon - you'll be great there. Just smile a hell of a lot and talk about how cheerful you are and can handle many things at once. I'll let them know you're coming. Need directions?

Wait - forgot to tell you. They're closed on Mondays during the summer, so you'll have to come in on Tuesday. =)

Go on Park toward Dalat and Mahoney's and the auto dealerships, and follow it all the way down until it splits. Hang left (don't take the big right-hand curve), and it'll be right up there on your left.
