Request for opinions

So, I've wanted to get a tattoo for some time now, and I've come up with some pretty solid ideas. However, note that "ideas" is plural. I'm slightly torn. These are what I'm pretty much focusing on, and [6] is in there not really as a contestant on its own, but rather something I'd like to add to/incorporate into the others.









And the area I'll be getting it:



So, if you could cast votes...?

If you want to explain why, that's great. If not, just the number's good too.

EDIT: I'm not too sure about [4] because it looks too much like a butterfly... and the last thing I want a tattoo of is a butterfly. Well, maybe Kenny G. But right above that on the list, a butterfly.

How big are you planning on making it? The reason I ask is because these seem to have a lot of detail that won't be able to be kept if you go too small.

Pretty big, enough so that the detail won't be lost.

well in that case.. if you're going to build around it then #6 is best.. otherwise I like #1 the most but I'm not really sure why.

Personally, I like #4 because it resembles a pair of butterfly wings.

I like 6, especially if it's not quite brushing the edge of the shoulder blades... After that, 5. The first few have the swirls at the extremeties, which just doesn't look right for some reason...

#1 is nice.
I don't like the upswept edges of #2 and #3
#4 could work, it looks more like a moth than a butterfly.
#5 looks like Groucho Marx glasses.
#6 looks like testicles.

They're all pretty to me. :) I'm mostly curious as to what these designs mean to you? (They look like Victorian wedding invites to me, which is probably completely NOT what YOU were thinking. :)

I'd probably pick either #1 or #4. =)

The lily ends of 6 look vaginal to me
