I really want to go to the Empty Set movie tonight (and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
zoupmachine said she'd IM me before then to see about dressing up), but when I woke up from my nap just now, my sore throat has escalated, I'm still exhausted (but know that if I keep sleeping, I wouldn't sleep tonight) and ( possible TMI ) So going out in the freezing foot-deep snow and being with people for an hour is a horribly stupid idea.
But I really, really want to go! Like, I've been looking forward to the movie and seeing everyone, but any sane person would know and accept that it's just not possible. Or rather, not possible if I don't want to cripple myself for the next few days, and that's not good for Intercon. In fact, going to the movie tonight probably would equal not getting any writing done tonight or tomorrow, and I can't do that at this stage.
But I want to gooooooo. I know I'm whining and that it's pointless, but I'm extremely disappointed with my body's and this weather's timing. So I have a feeling that I'm going to sit here and be miserable as I chug juices and tea and chow down on painkillers.
This sucks.
