The last of the sets. This one was a short one, as it was part of the photographer's charity project.

His thing is called "Sock Out Cancer," where all of the volunteer models wear pink knee-highs, socks, or tights and look kinda tough. I don't really own much pink to match, so I had to resort to a Hello Kitty shirt and a pink rhinestone/spiked dog collar.

For the record, I feel weird with my hair like that. )

I don't like this set much at all. I think I really wasn't into it, and it shows. Still, I need to pick one or two for him to use.

I mad more new articles of clothing I wanted to play with. And my photographer really liked shooting with glasses, and I had these no-glare frames. Win.

Sadly, this is the last TdlM shirt I'll ever own. This year was the last year they held it. =/

I love this foofy skirt. )

Amazingly enough, I managed to pose in such a way that the cuts on my shins weren't seen. I went ice skating with [livejournal.com profile] buddhagrrl and [livejournal.com profile] jingsaw this past weekend, and the plastic skates cut into my skin. =( I have learned my lesson about what kind of socks to wear. I want to go skating again!

I don't know what my favorites in this one are. It's too weird, seeing myself wearing glasses.

I seriously felt like Lady Gaga in this shoot. With my $1 Building 19 sunglasses and a bunch of other things I'd never worn before, I felt ridiculous.

I haven't done fashion work in a long time. Usually I do conceptual shoots, but this time, I just felt like grabbing some of the more vibrant parts of my wardrobe and running with it.

More experimentation with makeup: this time, mixing lipstick. )

I think I like purple. I don't usually wear it, but I do love me some mustard yellow. Not for everyday wear, but the two together are curiously pleasing to me.

Again, personal picks much appreciated.

So, I did a four-part shoot today. The first one was an experiment in makeup, since I just got a ridiculous amount and was inspired by Chinese opera.

The Hapi coat made it in there as per photographer's request. It fit the colors, so... and yes, I have a tail. xD

Also, it's been forever since I modeled. Like, at least six months. It took a while to get back into it, and I think I'm pretty happy with the results, despite being so rusty.

What's awesome is that we found wolf tracks in the snow and ice while we were shooting. )

Despite knowing nothing about makeup, I'm pretty proud of how this came out.

In this, and the next few posts, I'm definitely looking to hear people's favorites. While the ones I post are my personal picks, there are still like, five of each. I really need new icons/profile photos, so any opinions would definitely be appreciated. =)
